We had a outdated finnished basement that was cold,damp, musty, moldy, poorly lit and horribly laidout.   I just hated being down there.  We called various contractors and finally decided to go with the Home Works Doctor LLC.  Roy shared his observations as to the many existing problems, what needed to be done to fix them and then his ideas as to what the floor plan could look like.  My husband and I were impressed with his knowledge and insights. The project was extensive but we could see the progress as water leakage problems dissapeared, eggress windows were installed, new studing , wiring and outlets,  new plumbing in the concrete floor for the bathroom. a bedroom was framed in and then a laundry room.   Our basement is so beautifull we now spend more of time there than any other part of the house. The natural light from the egress windows is incredible.  We highly recommend Roy, the Home Works Doctor LLC, for any project you may be considering.  He is a knowledgeable designer and remodeler.  He strives for perfection in everything he does.

It was early evening and suddenly all the lights flickered and went out.   I called my neighbor but they weren't having the same problems.   She suggested I check my circuit breakers.  Checking my circuit box i could smell an unusaul odor.  My nighbor suggested I call the HomeWorks Doctor.  He had done some work a month earlier and were very happy with him.   He was at my house in about 30 minutes.   After looking at my panel he could see that my main breaker overheated and flipped off.  But there was more.  My panel had several mini breakers and was overloaded beyond its capactiy.  He was able to get our power back on by installing a new main breaker and disconnecting some of the circuits we could  do without.   

After discussing the situation i asked Roy to install a panel that was capable of handeling the elecrical needs of our home.  The panel was upgraded to a 200 amp service and now there's room for additional breakers if i should ever need them.   Thank you for rescuing us.  You're the best!

As a homeowner I'm very particular and struggled to find a contractor I felt comfortable with and confident that my expectations would be meet.  I  wanted to remodel the main bath and my friend "excitedly" recommended the HomeWorks Doctor".  I  hired him to do a complete make-over of the bathroom and was totally pleased of the results.    He was very thorough with what needed to be installed before the wall board went up and very detailed with the finnish work.  Roy is like an artist with his tile work.  He is scheduled to do my master bath in the Fall and there's 2 more after that.  His work is what all homeowners long for.  Thank you Roy.  I can hardly wait for my master bath to be made-over.  I'm recommending you to all my friends.
